Who's Your Teacher?
Welcome to Rainbow Maths Abacus! I’m Arita, the founder of Rainbow Maths Abacus. I aim to make mental arithmetic both fun and engaging for children. With over four years of experience as an online tutor, I specialize in teaching Abacus (Soroban) techniques and mental math, providing students with a strong foundation in mathematics. I studied in the Education and Training Programme at Dublin City University, which equipped me with valuable skills for creating effective learning experiences. Additionally, I completed the Introduction to Children First course with Tusla, enhancing my understanding of child welfare and protection. I am also Garda vetted, meaning I have undergone background checks to ensure a safe and secure environment for the children I teach. Alongside my teaching expertise, I am a certified Microsoft Word Specialist. I have also worked with children at a Children and Family Center and previously taught coding, enriching my educational approach. At Rainbow Maths Abacus, I focus on helping students succeed academically. Many of my students have achieved remarkable results, including top positions in international competitions like the Mental Maths World Cup. Let’s embark on this exciting journey of growth and discovery together!
